Not all solar or backup systems are created equal. Each type of system is engineered to meet specific energy needs and operational scenarios.
Grid-Tied Systems
Grid-tied systems use only solar panels and the grid to supply power and typically do not include batteries. These systems are ideal for locations where backup power is not a priority and excess solar energy can be fed back into the grid.
Hybrid Systems
Hybrid systems combine multiple DC energy sources—such as batteries, solar panels, and sometimes wind turbines—to support a load. These systems provide backup power capabilities while still allowing grid connectivity for flexibility and efficiency.
Off-Grid Systems
Off-grid systems operate entirely independently from the utility grid, relying solely on alternative power sources like solar panels, batteries, wind turbines, or generators. These systems are designed for locations without reliable grid access or where complete energy self-sufficiency is required.
