At Lithium Batteries South Africa (LBSA), our mission goes beyond powering homes, farms, and industries. We believe in powering hope—and that’s why we proudly adopted Marang, one of the smallest white rhino calves ever to arrive at The Rhino Orphanage after losing his mother to poaching.
Thriving in the Wild
Marang is thriving! Over the past few weeks, he and his buddy Beckham have been full of surprises. Their curiosity and playful spirit have been a joy to witness, especially as they’ve shown interest in Annie, one of the young female rhinos on the reserve.
With the early rains bringing fresh sweet grasses, Marang and Beckham are now exploring other areas of the reserve, enjoying the new growth, and strengthening their bonds with fellow rhinos. Their social and playful nature reminds us why supporting these incredible animals is so important.
